Method 2

Run the following commands in Terminal to install Google Chrome on Linux Ubuntu Systems, via DEB package:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
$ google-chrome-stable
